Mary Polychronas

Psychology

Mary Polychronas, Psychologist and a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec (OPQ) and the American Psychological Association (APA), graduated from McGill University, where she was trained in Educational Psychology and Counseling Psychology. She has experience in counseling and teaching in a variety of settings since 1987. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and offers individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults.

Her areas of specialization include; Anxiety and Depression, Adjustment Disorder, Attention Deficit with or without hyperactivity (ADHD), Behavior Disorders, Behavior Management, Mood Disorders, Substance Abuse, Self-esteem, Work related issues and Reintegration to work. She has also worked with Special Needs Population; Down’s Syndrome, Autism and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. She provides support to families and consults with organizations as needed.
